COVID-19 Drive-thru Test Center Now Open in Miami Beach:

Pre-registration is required

UPDATED April 11 to reflect in-home testing option for seniors.

A COVID-19 drive-thru test site is now open in Miami Beach. Operated by MedRite Urgent Care, the test site is located in the parking lot at 4621 Collins Avenue adjacent to the Eden Roc Hotel. It will operate Sunday through Friday (closed Saturdays) from 10 am to 6 pm and requires pre-registration.

Only private vehicles are allowed (no pedestrians, bicycles, scooters) and you must remain in your vehicle at all times.

There will be no charge for tests for anyone – no deductibles or co-pays for those with insurance and no charge for those without insurance.

To register, visit MedRiteUrgentCare.com/COVID. The website includes a list of FAQs.

For questions, call 305-735-3909. The call center operates the same hours as the test site (10 am to 6 pm, Sunday through Friday).

New: Starting Monday, April 13, the City of Miami Beach will offer in-home COVID-19 testing for homebound Miami Beach seniors 65 years and older who are experiencing symptoms associated with the coronavirus. Those symptoms include fever, shortness of breath or a persistent cough. Testing is for residents by appointment only. If you meet the criteria, call the City’s customer service center at 305-604-CITY to request an appointment. The customer service center is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6:30 pm. In-home testing for homebound residents is provided by MedRite with the assistance of the Miami Beach Fire Department.
