Latest Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel Renderings:
Project back before Design Review Board in June
The latest renderings of the planned Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel show more definition on the building’s upper facade as well as how it relates to the adjacent Fillmore Theater as requested by the Design Review Board (DRB) in February. Following a couple of continuances, the project is now on the agenda for consideration at the DRB’s June 4 meeting. The 15-story, 185-foot tall building is being designed by Arquitectonica. Developers David Martin and Jackie Soffer, both local residents, formed a partnership to build the hotel which was approved by voters in November.
